  • Revenue MTD / YTD vs target
  • Gross margin
  • Cash on hand / runway
  • AR > 30 days

Weekly use

  1. Monday AM: owners update numbers before 10am
  2. 10am: 15-min standup, red KPIs flagged
  3. Each red gets an action item + owner + due date
  4. Review actions next Monday

Common mistakes

  • Adding KPIs without removing — dashboard becomes noise
  • Vanity metrics (followers, likes)
  • Monthly-only review misses course-correction chances
